Bitcoin works for any plan listed here. It behaves differently from a stablecoin in three ways worth knowing before you send.
The amount is fixed when you order
We quote the BTC figure at the moment you confirm and lock it. If the price moves while your transaction confirms, that is already accounted for and you do not owe a top up. Send the exact amount shown, not a rounded version of it.
Confirmations take longer
A Bitcoin transaction needs block confirmations before the swap can proceed. Depending on the fee you attach and how busy the mempool is, that ranges from roughly ten minutes to well over an hour. The deposit window accounts for this, but a very low fee can still push you past it.
Minimums are higher
Volatile coins carry a higher floor than stablecoins because the provider needs headroom against price movement. On a one month Claude Pro order that floor can occasionally sit above the order total, in which case the checkout greys BTC out and suggests a longer plan or a different coin.
Network fees are yours
The fee you pay to the Bitcoin network is separate from the plan price and does not reach us. Sending during a quiet period costs noticeably less.
When BTC is the right choice
If Bitcoin is what you hold, it works fine and the process is identical. If you hold both BTC and a stablecoin, the stablecoin is usually cheaper and faster for a small order.
